A #dram25 exclusive opportunity to spend time in the company of one of our present-day masters. Enjoy a six-course tasting menu served in our new TimeSpirit dining room in the company of Colin Baird, Energy and Sustainability Manager at The Macallan Estate.
Colin has worked in technical roles at Macallan for 11 years and was involved with trials and commissioning during the creation of the new distillery. Currently he is supporting the delivery of sustainability objectives, focused on carbon reduction of distillery operations. He is a keen outdoors person and knows Easter Elchies well, having lived on site, and also run every road and path of the Estate.
This five-hour deep delve into The Macallan includes a guided production experience through the distillery, and tutored tasting of a carefully curated The Macallan whisky in our iconic Cave Privée.
You'll be invited to The Macallan Bar to experience a Macallan whisky flight. Afterwards, enjoy a personal shopping experience in The Macallan Boutique.
This event will provide a greater understanding of how the rich legacy of The Macallan's past has influenced the present, and provides inspiration for the future.
