Accommodation is spread across the region, with options in towns including Aberlour, Dufftown, Rothes, Craigellachie, Elgin and Fochabers. Some visitors choose to stay slightly further afield and travel in for events.
During the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, availability can be limited. We strongly recommend securing your accommodation as early as possible, ideally before, or at the same time as, booking your tickets.

Choosing the Right Base
Speyside is a rural region, and events take place across multiple towns and distilleries. When deciding where to stay, consider:
Some visitors choose one base for the full Festival, while others split their stay across different areas to reduce travel time.
If your preferred location is fully booked, try neighbouring towns or larger centres such as Elgin or Keith, which offer good transport links to many Festival events.
